Skilled manpower is the real asset for any organization and hence the recruitment process is highly crucial for the success of any such organization. The role of the recruitment process stands as one of the most integral part of the HR Department for overall organizational development. The company has identified individual ‘Financial Advisors’ as its primary channel in order to penetrate deep into the potentially huge customer base in the country. The study entitled “Advisor recruitment process of Life insurance Company” aimed at improving the “advisor recruitment process in Life insurance Company.” The study also tried to design a suggestive and ideal recruitment process model applicable for LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY expansion strategy.
The study was undertaken with the help of questionnaire and personal interview. The data so gathered was analyzed using descriptive statistical tools. On the basis of the descriptive research study made it is found that the recruitment process of LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY requires changes. Most of the potential candidates come through referrals. The intake from sources includes as majority of novices when compared to experienced professionals of other organizations.
Suggestions include some improved codes of conduct for the Financial Advisors. There is also a change required in the recruitment system because it’s quite liberal at the end of the selection process. Apart from the referral fees and commissions, qualitative trainings can be provided at regular intervals and on the basis of target based performances extra allowances and perks can be awarded which would be phenomenal advantage to the organization in motivating, retaining and increasing the new fresher number of Financial Advisors |
